As we are aware, we have 2 upcoming referendums. One is whether or not we should legalize cannabis and the second referendum is to allow euthanization. The individuals of the Pohutukawa Party have our opinions on these 2 referendums and have created policies. We say Yes to cannabis however we want strict rules so people do not misuse this drug. We want the majority of the individuals to use cannabis for medical purposes and to relieve stress. We want 2 joints per person and 4 per family. If we legalize cannabis, this can help with taxes which will benefit in health and education issues which we currently have. Not only are we helping these aspects but we are also helping the economy with this policy. If cannabis is legal, valuable police resources will be used in more serious crimes.
